Well, Hello There

Jairo leapt, soaring over the crevice like it wasn't there. He landed with a muted thud and craned his neck to glance over his shoulder. The crack in the granite stone was maybe four wolf lengths across. That was quite a distance. The brute gave a grunt of satisfaction and continued down the slope to Yumiti Lake. The sunset rays cast a pinkish glow on everything. It was beautiful. Feeling odd, Jairo flattened himself out on a comfortable patch of moss and stared up at the setting sun with crystal blue eyes. It had been a long time since Jairo had done this. Very long. Perhaps since before he left his family pack to start his own.

Jairo rested his gray and white head on his paws, heaving a great sigh. He was tired, yet he didn't wish to sleep. It was an akward feeling. The brute shrugged his shoulders, then opened his jaws wide to let loose a yawn.

The gray, black and white wolf was in a playful mood, and on instinct, looked around for someone to fool around with. Then he remembered; he was out on his own now. The thought sometimes scared him, and other times it made him feel like the bravest wolf in the Circle of Dawn. Jairo once again rested his massive head upon his paws. There was not much to do on this island. Eat, sleep. But there was some beautiful scenery. The roar of the waterfall was comforting, not like the enraged roar of an angry bull. It nearly lulled Jairo into sleep. He shook himself awake and padded down to the water. Maybe a swin would wake him up.

Aubern walked along side Yumiti lake, she was terribly bored; she hadn't seen another wolf and such a long time. And she had been to just about everyplace here, she needed something new to do and to see. Or maybe just a new face to appear around the next corner. Aubern was not easily amused, seeing the same things over and over or just being in the same place for too long made her feel uneasy. But that was how she always was and one of the reasons she left her former pack to begin with; But she also enjoyed the freedom she had, to go where she pleased and to do whatever she wanted it. Who wouldn't like those things, being ordered around all the time was something she didn't like.

Since she saw everything there was to see at the lake she hoped she would run into a new face preferably a male. Males were just so much more fun to be around then females; females were just so whiny to her. and most didn't like her much because of the way she acted. But she didn't care playing with males emotions to get what she wanted was something she enjoyed and she hadn't failed at it so far. But this was such a slow week, she hadn't seen any new wolves around. and she was bored out of her mind, she thought about moving on to another territory since it appeared she didn't everything there was to do here.

But the scent of a wolf near by filled her nose, finally a new face to play with. She only hoped that the scent was coming from a male. She sped up her pace to a steady trot until the wolf was in her sight, he was making his way down to the lake. maybe going for swim? Well in any case that wasn't going to happen now that she was around. She strutted towards the Male trying to show herself, this may be only time for a while she got to have any fun, and she wasn't gonna pass it up.

Jairo put one white paw in the water and froze solid. The deliciously sweet scent of a female flooded his glands. Perhaps this was a chance to practice his flirting. It had been awhile; he was getting rusty. Jairo laughed and recalled the last time he had flirted. The femme had falled ears over paws for him. The gray and white male rolled his ice blue irises and smiled. Patting a coy grin into place, Jai leaped out of the water and flicked cool droplets off of his claws. A slight, feminine she-wolf stood before him. A light breeze toyed with her light gray pelt. Her honey-brown eyes glinted with mischeif, and as she padded towards him, he could tell that she was trying to show her curves. It was working. Jairo felt his blue orbs trace every contour of her lovely body. He felt a mental smack and a voice whispered in his thoughts.

"Watch yourself, Jairo," came Jalissa's voice in his head. He reluctantly tore his gaze away from the beautiful female and spotted a white weasel sitting atop a rock glaring at him. "Don't worry! I'll just have a bit of fun with her," Jairo watched Jalissa roll her eyes. "Yeah, that sounds so much better! Just behave yourself. I'm gonna go find something to eat." Jairo uttered a soft laugh and brought his attention back to the gorgeous fae in front of him.

"Well, hello there," he play growled. There was that tone; that flirty little tone that never seemed to leave his voice whenever a female was in his presence. Jairo strutted up to her, his muscles rolling and bunching beneath a lucious gray and white pelt. His bushy tail whipped to the side and traced it across her side, flicking it along all of her curves. He felt her shudder under his gentle touch and his black lips spread into a grin. Jairo's paws carried him around her and brought him back to face her light brown irises. "What's your name, beautiful?" he asked the fae.

This was always how she started her game, it was just the first step of her "master plan" it never took long before. First she had to get the males attention; seeing how the he couldn't take his icy blue eyes off of her that part was taken care of. Next she would get to know the wolf better, a little playful banter and some flirting to keep his attention; as if her looks were not enough to keep a males attention. this was step would start now he smile formed on her maw and she was just about to speak to gray wolf, but she beat him to it. He already started to speak to her; she could tell by his tones that this game would not be as easy as the others. The way that he moved and spoke, he was like her; well maybe not exactly but maybe he liked playing the same game that she did. if so this would be more fun than she thought. Who would come out on top? only time would tell but, now it was her turn to make question was how should she approach it.

Artemus was laying on a tree branch in his ferret form, he was watching what was happening so far. this was the first time any wolf had actually flirted with her without have her flirt first. He didn't know if that was a bad or a good thing but he did know that Aubern would enjoy it even more. he has seen her play this game many times, he knew oh most males usually reacted and how she in turn acted, "Be careful Aubern with this one Aubern." he warned her mentally not that she didn't already know.

Aubern's light brown eyes looking the males icy blue eyes, one could lose themselves looking into those endless blue pools. but she had to snap herself out of it, she started this game and the showed they he was gonna play it, now it was her move, "My Name is Aubern, what about you handsome. I hope you liked what you saw" keeping her usual seductive tones, "Is it my turn now? to get a look at you love."
