Personality: Rafe is the very picture of a rugged lone wolf. Bold and virtually fearless, his innately curious nature and restlessness drive him to roam the wilds of Reon in search of adventure and excitement. He is immovably determined, and if there is something that he wants to do, then chances are he's going to find a way to accomplish it. He's fairly laid-back; there aren't a lot of things capable of making him nervous or upset. A lot of this is probably due to his self-confidence. It wouldn't be entirely incorrect to call him cocky, since he certainly has a generous amount of confidence in himself. Roguish and, shall we say, flexible in his morals, Rafe is good at heart, but nevertheless engages in all kinds of activities for the sake of amusement. From hunting on another pack's land to stealing mates out from under the nose of the alpha, there is nothing he won't do if it seems interesting enough. He enjoys challenging authority, partly because he doesn't like submitting to any other wolf, and also because he just wants to see how much he can get away with. But despite that, Rafe is loyal to his friends, and would do anything for those he trusts most.

Appearance: Rafe is a large, powerful wolf. With long legs and a graceful stride, he is an intimidating figure of male prowess. His build is tall and muscular, but not bulky. His jaw is angular and strong, and his tail is very furry. Rafe has thick, black fur that keeps him well insulated in bad weather. The dense coat can get smothering in warmer temperatures, but in the spring he sheds it for a lighter pelt. A silvery stripe runs from behind his ears and travels down his back to the tip of his tail. A short line of white marks his chest, and two pale marks run down his shoulders. Rafe's eyes are pale golden, and can spark with amusement or fierce determination depending on the situation. Two large, graceful wings sprout from his back, their sweeping feathers exactly the same shade as his night-coloured fur. Their span is twice that of his entire length, giving him an intimidating wingspan when he stretches them to their fullest.

History: Rafe was born along with three siblings as the third litter of a pair of experienced alpha wolves. Right from the beginning, he knew that that life wasn't right for him. Life with his parents, his father's brother, his three littermates, and his five elder siblings was smothering, to say the least. It didn't help that he was the smallest out of all of his family, even his sister, who was the same age as him. Rafe decided when he was still very young that he wanted to leave home and get away from his family. However, Bri kept him from doing so for a long time. Each time he seriously considered leaving, she would hold him back, pointing out that he did love his family, and that he had a good life in the pack. And, because it was true, he stayed. But one cold night in winter, when the moon was full and his family hadn't caught anything to eat for a while, Rafe was attacked by his kin. Tensions were high, and there was no food to be had amongst them. So they took out their frustration on him, and instead of sticking around for it, Rafe left the pack for good. This time Bri didn't object; she didn't want him being hurt any more, and she knew that he had made up his mind in any case. That was just over a year ago, and ever since then, Rafe has wandered the wilds of Reon alone, with only his anima for company. It gets lonely sometimes, but it's free and it's exciting, and that's just the way he likes it.

Other: In case anyone was confused by the inconsistency in his history, Rafe was born the runt of the litter, but he grew just like any other wolf, and so eventually became quite large and strong despite his small birth weight.

Gender: Female
Personality: Bri is a fiery, bright spirited character. She's endlessly loyal, and completely devoted to Rafe. Friendly and generally trusting of everyone she meets, she is completely happy to make new friends and interact with others. Bri is very stubborn, which can be frustrating in a fight with her, but it also means that she will stick with her friends to the very end. She loves games and jokes, and will often play pranks on Rafe if there's no one else around. Her tricks are never ill-intended though, and besides, she knows he'll get her right back anyway. Though rather obstinate and sometimes mischievous, Bri is generally very sweet. She forgives easily, and doesn't like to see others suffering. Sometimes her empathy conflicts with Rafe's more harsh, practical nature, but if she's persistent enough, she can sometimes manage to win him over to her point of view. Or at the very least, she can convince him to go along with something, even if he grumbles every step of the way.

Ooh, that's your name? ^_^" That's cool. I just thought it was a nice name. And it means noble/strong/virtuous, and I wanted Bri to be the... the better part of him. The loyalty and sincerity that he doesn't always show. <3
