Music

Just a random thread, maybe get to know people better, i dunno. But anyways, post what your favorite kind of music is/what you listen to/ recommendations/ect anything music related.

I like alternative/rock/county. occasionaly some pop it depends. I really like Into the Night by Santana for example, and I like some songs by Boys Like Girls, and I also like some by Greenday or the All-American Rejects. I love all kinds of music, but rap isn't something i like to listen to, or blues/jazz.
OH and I like band stuff, I play Clarinet(2) and I'm in my schools marching band and everything. I like most songs we play ^^

I don't listen to modern music much, but I like songs that my dad sings like : Tamlin, [url=]http://www.contemplator.com/tunebook/scotland/tarwath.htm[/url], [url=]http://www.contemplator.com/tunebook/england/scarboro.htm[/url] Time to leave her, New Orleans, etc. (He sings ship shanties and irish songs a lot, and I don't think all the names are right, esp. as there are many varieties.


I LOVE the beatles, and almost any song by any member of them. I also like christmas and classical songs like Ode to Joy, Amazing Grace, etc. I also enoy the violin and piano, which I play, along with tinwhistle and rcorder.
