Icestar said it was okay to adopt them, so I added more to their profile and basically wrote all of it while keeping their basic appearances, personalities and history.
Name: Smoke
Gender: Male
Age: Just under 2. Born in the summer.
Island: Mitane
Personality: An early life of harsh scoldings and jeering mockery has made Smoke into a quiet character. Much of it is because he's wary of what he says around others, but also because it's not often that he talks with anyone besides Flame. He is devoted to Flame like any wolf is to their anima. He is fond of her protecting and looking after him. Flame's spikiness upsets him sometimes, and she knows that. But for the most part they get along very well and rarely argue. They have to stick together and work together to survive, after all. When it comes down to it he knows they need each other.
His feelings are easily hurt and he becomes upset when someone criticizes him too harshly or otherwise is verbally unkind. Despite, he's rather happy and bounces back in his own time. In a way he's gotten used to the hard life he lives, but he still wishes to be with others who enjoy his company and won't be cruel to him. It's not in his nature to like being alone his whole life.
Pelt: A smoke gray color, his fur is of an average length and thickness.
Eye Color: Dark gray, almost black.
Markings: None
Ability: Smoke's flightless gray wings are a shade lighter than his fur, about a medium gray. The undersides are an even lighter shade, fading to an off-white color closer to where the wings connect to his body. On the edges of the wings the feathers are tipped in a dark gray.
History: Neither have had an easy life. Smoke was born as the omega's pup, and so for most of his life he has been ridiculed and taunted. The other wolves in the pack jeered at him, mocked him, and spoke down on him. He soon became quiet and reserved, having only Flame to keep him true, welcomed company. Flame seemed to be his opposite even so young, although they were inseperable. Flame hated the way they were treated- they way Smoke was treated, actually, but she felt the same as he- and often was the only one spitting back at the bullies and warning them to leave him alone. Smoke was hurting inside, but Flame showed it the most on the outside, coldly distancing herself from the others of the pack. Smoke tried to stay on the good side of others but Flame hadn't cared less about that.
One day she'd finally had enough. Smoke had been playing with some fallen leaves, pouncing on them and throwing them up in the air, when some older wolves started making fun of him. They called him 'worthless mutt' among other cruel names. Smoke looked down sadly, tail drooping, but didn't say anything. That was when Flame exploded. In a flash she had turned into a huge, hulking bear, standing on two legs, and let out her fiercest roar. The wolves stood their ground at first, but gradually she intimidated them into leaving. After that, Flame confronted Smoke, telling him she wasn't going to let him keep living with the pack. She could feel Smoke's hurt and confliction, and edged him further. At last he agreed, and the pack never saw the two again.
He was almost a year old at this point, having already learned how to hunt, and set off with only Flame as his companion. They traveled for a long time, braving the weather, trying to find a new home. They came across other lone wolves but all of them were just as harsh as the former pack. On one occasion the two had to fight off a small group of aggressive wolves and escaped bruised and bleeding. A year has gone by since they were on their own. They are both lonely for other company, yet content with just each other. Smoke wants to find someone who would be kind to him, perhaps even a she-wolf. Flame inwardly wants to have the company of others as well, but mostly she wants things to stay the way they are. They've had to survive by themselves for so long, and every other wolf they'd come across so far had turned them away. Why should things change?

Name: Flame
Gender: Female
Personality: Flame seems to have taken the bulk of the abuse and the hard times she and Smoke have been through. Smoke is quiet and timid, but Flame has the hardened exterior. She is hotheaded and loud, defiant and stubborn. It seems as if all her life she's had to look out for Smoke's fragile feelings. She's always protecting him, with her sharp attitude and strict orders, and to others it may seem like she bosses him around. But it's just her way of doing things. She is a close friend to him, and for most of their lives she has been an only friend. Not only a friend, but a lifelong companion, protector, and guardian. Flame is cautious about letting others get close to them because of their hard life; most others they've ever met have been cruel and harsh to them. As a result Flame is harsh right back at anyone who crosses their path. She may seem like a ruffled up ball of fur but she is only trying to protect herself and Smoke.
