Rules are Overated

Hiding secretely in the thick density of a large shrub, Velocity was silent as she patiently waited. Her father Renu being near the river side, she had no one to give her away. Her posture low and crouched to the loosely scattered dirt around her ivory paws, she smirked as the faint scent of her predator that tracked her neared.

Hiding below her paws as a sleek brown furred weasel, Pann looked anxious and worried. Taking a step to the right a tiny crunch of a fallen leaf rang out amoungst the huge shrub. Immediatly glanceing to his partner, he felt a wave of blame placed on his slender shoulders by the small wolfess's gaze.

"Pann, stay still. You'll give our postion away."She repremended her anime with her hushed voice and gleaming blue orbs.

With a sigh, Pann did as he was told and froze in his posture of standing."Can't we go play by Renu, it would be much safer than out here.."THe weasel whispered hoping to persuade his young partner but he knew it was of no use. Velocity was quite unlike him and loved the thrill of adventure and often times mischief.

Not answering Pann, Velocity scented the air."Luna's is getting really close, stay quite."She murmured so low before laying her crouched body against the soft soil.

"What is the thrill of this tag predator and prey game anyway. It only secludes you from your father and gets you in trouble for straying off too far."Pann mumbled before turning with the light pawsteps of the pup that had been tracking him, Luna.
With a smile, Velocity's eyes widened with the sense of beingchased after. Only moments would tell if she would flee or be hidden from sight.

Luna stepped lightly over any loose rocks or leaves. She was careful not to brush any leaves as she slunk through the bushes and past low branches, tracking Velocity's scent. The golden-eyed pup was certain that her friend had come this way, yet there was no sight or sound of her.

Overhead, Sorrow was scouting the forest in the form of a robin. The anima flew just beneath the top tree branches and scanned the forest floor swiftly. At last, Sorrow rested on a small thin tree branch and sighed, 'No sign of either of them. Luna, aren't you tired of this game yet? We've been searching forever!'

Luna giggled, turning her head upwards to see her anima. 'It's only been forever if forever is from just a few moments ago this morning to now, when the sun has yet to reach it's peak.'

Because she was not watching where she was going, Luna stumbled over her own paw and crashed into a bush. She grunted angrily at her mistake. Now Velocity would know for sure where she was! Suddenly, she heard another rustle. Nervous, she looked at the bush she had just run intoi. But the noise hadn't come from there, it had come from another bush. With a grin, the onyx pup waved her tail for Sorrow to follow.

The anima landed on a closer branch and squinted at the bush. Luna crouched into a hunting position crawled on her belly to the bush's side. She raised her tail into the air, wiggled it, and pounced onto the bush, landing on something furry as well as a few leaves.

"Gotcha!" she yipped happily.

Leaping out of the large bush as Luna ponuced, Velocity managed to be free of capture. Smiling her ususal quite cute way, she giggeled." Ha! You didn't catch me Luna."She smirked, wagging her long black tail wildly. Her eyes clear blue eyes lowering to where Luna had thought she had been, she noticed something out of the ordinary. "Where's Pann?"

Then with a stern voice that also was youthful do to his young age, Pann hissed. Luna! Your crushing me!"He snapped under the smashed branches and Luna's body. Now in the form of and Ocelot once again he still couldn't free himself from the heavy branches upon him.

His dark amber eyes wide, he struggeled to shake Luna off his back along with the branches though all he could manage was to shift his body about. Pann mumbeled under his breath angrily.

Velocity giggeled lightly hoping Pann wouldn't be too upset."Oh stop you crying Pann. We were only playing."She spoke looking back to Luna with a smile.
