Nightwaler felt something col and wet thouch his flnk and he nearly jumped. he lifted his head and smelled Keovi close to him, he yawned and sat up. he still felt tired and his head and tail drooped a little. Delila was up after Kevovi barked everyone to get up, she noticed Nightwalker was still a lttle sleepy. it was hard for him to concentrate on his senses when he was tired. she leand against him, " come on Nightwalker still some elk left we'll eat before we have to go." Nightwalker just gave her a slight nod and leaned against her as he allowed her t guide him to the carcass.

Iceheart decided to play it more helpless today. She let Ky guide her to the elk and ate very little, even though she hadn't eaten the night before. "Are yo ready Nightwalker?" she barked. she would stay by him for as long as she could.

Keovi trotted back to Mudpelts side, bringing her and himself some of the leftover elk meat. He ate his own in a few bites while Takara went to the lake's edge to take a drink and wash her paws. She returned padding along on the ground as a Pine Marten as usual, but she decided to stay on the ground until everyone was on the move. She was still tired and her eyes felt heavy as she struggled to stay awake. " Whys so early?" she mumbled. Keovi picked her up gently and set her next to the elk and walked back to Mudpelt. Takara, half asleep, started eating bit by bit until she was full enough to have a bit more energy, food was always her weak point.

" Takarra and Kuna arnt morning animals, are they. While we on the other hand are completely fine with waking up at the crack of dawn," Mudpelt said giggling. She looked at Keovi and noticed he had a bit of fur sticking up.
" You are so cute in the morning," Mudpelt said lovenly. She licked the fur down and then sat up.

Keovi nodded, smiling. " Ya, Takara never was either. Its a miracle I got her this far this early. " He said, watching as Takara yawned and padded over to them both with her tail dragging, but she tried to smile and keep her eyes open. He fur tingled again as she groomed the messy fur on his head, and he wagged his tail thankfully. " Well for me in the morning, you look wonderful all the time." He said softly. " I think we should start moving now before everyone falls back asleep. After we see if this wolf is still there, then we can relax a little." he said sniffing the wind and looking in the dirrection across the lake where they would be headed. In the area of the lake visible to them through the thin trees, steam was collecting near the surface and some early morning fog could be seen blanketing the trees. It was chilly, but not so much that it was uncomfortable.

Nightwalker ate his fill of the carcass, he felt a more awake. enough so that he could use his senses to the fullest extent. his ears twitched as he heard Keovi say they should be moving, they where going to look for another wolf in anither part of the territory. since he was going to be here he thought he should make himself usefull in some way. though he never sencted the wolf before he thought maybe he could sniff the wolf out much better then everyone else here. he lifted his head and sniffed the air, he could smell a wolfs scent. it was female but the scent was a few days old. maybe this was the wolf he was talking about. " Keovi i can smell a female wolf the scent is a little old though. could this be the wolf your looking for?"

Keovi turned towards Nightwalker tilting his head a little as his own nose scented for the scent, but he could smell nothing other than themselves. " Well it probably is, last time we saw her at the lake was early yesterday, and she left into Satili forest." He reported, now bringing his nose to the ground for the start of some trail they could follow. " Well Nightwalker, I think this is where your the strongest, I'll bring ya to where me and Mudpelt saw her, then you can scent where she went from there." He bagan trotting off towards the lake's edge, moving towards where he and Mudpelt traveled the previous night. Takara bounded after him, but slowed down, and eventually decided on traveling on his back.

As they neared the same leafy clearing beside the lake as before, Keovi came to a stop and looked around warily. Nobody was to be seen, but he could faintly make out the stale scent of the wolf. He started to poke his nose around in the leaves around the small path she came from, but stepped aside and waited for Nightwalker to see if he could tell them which way she went. " Sometimes it helps if you use the wind to help you find out the dirrection a wolf moves. I can help you with that." He said and without hesitation a light breeze started to come through the trees towards them. " That make it any stronger?" Takara asked as she jumped off his back and went to join Mudpelt and Kuna.

Mudpelt padded a little behind the others. She liked to observe the forest and found it much easier to do in the quiet. She saw the water flowing over the smooth pebbles down by the lake. She saw the leaves twirled up in a elegant dance that was controlled by a newly sprung gust of wind. Mudpelt looked to Keovi and noticed he looked like he was concentrating.
Of course, Mudpelt thought. He's making the wind. She padded up to The group along with Kuna and Takara. She sat and waited.

Deilia helped guide Nightwalker as they followed Keovi to the spot they last. Delila could since a change in Nightwalker, he seemed much calmer then normal. he didn't even have any complants of being the one to have to track down this wolf. Nightwalker kept quiet untill Keovi came to a stop, he walked ahead of Delila next to Keovi. he placed his nose to the earth and took in the scent, it was stale, that would make finding her a bit harded. but as Keovi made the breeze a fresher scent filled his nose. he lifted his head and sniffed the wind "i think i have her, she went that way" he said pointhing with his muzzle.

Keovi looked towards the direction Nightwalker pointed, wrinkling his own nose as she tried to find the scent, but had some trouble, he only found the stale scent left there previously. " Well okay, lead the way." He told the young wolf, deciding to trust his nose better than his own. Takara stretched and padded after them, looking back and pausing to wait for Mudpelt and Kuna, while Keovi stayed a few paces ahead with Nightwalker. The group disappeared through the trees and followed the scent helped by Keovi's winds.
