Ocean was saddened by this news, but still he said, "Goodbye to you. Your always welcome here." Ocean opened his eyes and stood facing Kaito.

Arella was dissapointed that her new freinds had to leave so soon. Calling to them, "Goodbye! We'll miss you! May good fortune find you wherever you find your selves." Then she grinned in a sad way.

Arella changed into a small monkey and waved back to Tai Li. She sat thinking about her memories about Tai li. Then she realized that Ocean was leaving. Bounding after him with a comicle gait she settled in pace with him, only to realize that Ocean's mind was sheilded from her's. Perhaps he needed some time to think she thought to herself.

After a while they reached their den. Crawling in Ocean slid to the side by the oddly blue shell that his mother had given him. Arella, by his side, was soon resting peacefully.

Ocean wandered in his thoughts at the edge of bliss and sleep. Suddenly one thought brought him completely awake: Wouldnt it be kind to send Kaito off with a howl?
Ocean didnt ushualy howl in a row, but that was because there used to be nothing to howl about. But now there was.

Padding sillently out of the den so he would wake up Arella, Ocean climed up onto the rock next to the den. He raised his head to the sky. It wasnt that dark and this caused a strange effect. Sun, clouds, moon, blue sky, night sky, and stars were all in the sky at once. The clouds seemed to swirl with the light breeze that played accross Ocean's muzzle. The light was neither bright nor dark.

Jaws parting Ocean sang of these things he saw and felt. He sung of the great willow by the sea. But mostly he sang of his freind who was gone. His voice was lonely and ghostly compared to his other song. Ocean sang of luck for his freinds and their journey through life. He even sang a little of his wish that they would stay, but Ocean did not linger on this. After a while his voice pettered out. Beyond all Ocean hoped that maybe, just maybe there would be a responce.

Arella landed next to Tai. She frowned a bit when Tai asked about Ocean. "Well, hes protrolling the borders of our teritory. He asked my to come say hi." Then she smiled again.

"So how are you?" She asked Tai and Kaito.

Suddenly Ocean walked up, giving Arella a start. Hadnt he been a while aways? "Not many wolves reside here on this island. Most that do live near the mountains. Few live here by the ocean, not many want to. I have a freind who owns his own territory near here. He is my brother and would gladly help me if I asked for I have helped him many times." Ocean said wisely. He would leave this desicion to Arella if Kaito would allow.

Arella knowing this turned to Kaito as Ocean sat, "Well, if you permit We could go with you." She said seriosly.

Ocean smiled as he also stood,"No, we can leave now if you wish. My brother is as we speak already pratrolling."

Arella turned into a ferret. Then she bounced over to Tai Li. Oh how fun this will be! She thought. She gave Tai a huge grin.

OOC: We can switch forums when we reach the edge of Deyora Pack Territory, right?

Tai Li grinned back and raised her otter paw to "high five" the other anima. This'll be great.

Kaito nodded again. "Then off we go." and if Tai Li was not mistaken, it contained a hint of amusement.

He rose to his paws and shook himself lightly. The icy wolf padded along the dry edge of the riverbank. Tai Li pattered behind him.

OOC: Yeah we can. Tai and Arella are perfect companions, dont ya think?


Arella 'high-fived' Tai and scampered off after her. She didnt mind being near Kaito so much enymore. In her heart she already thought of him as family. "This is awesome right?" She squeaked to Tai.


Ocean padded after Kaito after nodding at him. He was silent for a while then he said almost to himself, "So, we plan to adventer among the tide and the stones, do we not?"

OOC: Yeah, they are
Yeah it really is. replied Tai Li, padding up ahead of Kaito.

Kaito, in response to Ocean's poetic comment, made a small nod in his direction before looking straight ahead again. Realizing that he was moving too quickly, the silver and cyan (haha font color) wolf eased his pace. He looked ahead, but he was actually paying quite abit of attention to the river. There were a plethara of fish in it, and the current was rather slow.

"The river's source must be quite a distance away," he said quietly.

Arella smiled wider when Tai said this. Then she looked over at Kaito when he spoke. "Yes, it goes beyond our territory." She aggreed with him.

Ocean was as silent as Kaito was but, he allowed a smile to crease his features. It was true, he was traveling beyond his home with a wolf he barely knew. But despite this, Ocean was happy.

Tai Li frowned a bit as she tried hard to remember the reason. No one had ever asked why before. After a moment or two of thought, she shrugged and gave an innocent smile. I think Kaito is searching for something. And he hasn't found it. she knew that the answer was ridiculously vague, but Kaito had never told her why they wandered before. She herself hadn't cared, as long as she was with him it made no difference. But then again, she'd never had any other friends.

Kaito listened intently to each word. He didn't speak to other wolves often and he never wanted any wolf to have to repeat themselves for him. He nodded when Ocean was done. He analyzed the living arrangement between the brother's quickly.

"No, not at all," he replied, facing forward again. "It makes perfect sense. That way you don't have to worry about hostile neighbors, yet you have more territory and back up in case of another Pack attacking."
