| HMM....
Aragorn lifted his dark head, and blinked at the bright sun's glare. He stood, and listened to the sound of the wind roaring through the trees. This was not a good day for travel, but nontheless, he must. He lifted a large muzzle to taste the air. Danger was on the wind.
He carefully stole outside of the overhang that had been his den. He picked his way down the steep hill, or maybe cliff face. A rock came loose and clattered down the narrow path, falling over the side into a chasm. It seemed that it hit every boulder or obstacle in it's way. The sound echoed through the rust colored canyon walls. Aragorn froze. His dark, shadow colored coat and pearly wings were out of place. Should he try to fly? The call of the Malos rent the air, only magnified by the wind. A white head appeared at the top of the canyon walls, followed by more.
Aragorn hesitated, then began to run picking up speed. His paws were cut and bruised as he clambered through the mazes of sharp rocks. Ahead, the path ended. He kept running. As he reached the brink, he leaped. His large feathered wings snapped out, and he glided for a few moments. The Malos followed, their batlike wings flapping hard.
Aragorn glided for a few moments, but a searing agony shot through his left wing, Aragorn's wings folded, causing him to fall in a steep dive. He male began to fall, his muzzle twisted with pain. Nine white forms followed. Aragorn tried to move his wing, but couldn't. The pain was like that of fire burning in his veins. The Malos had crippled his wing in the last battle, and he had never tried to fly since. Until now. Aragorn used his good wing to guide him to a ledge. He crash- landed, his fur mixing with red dust. A cloud rose, so the Malos knew where to go. Even with their poor sight they could see this. Aragorn got to his paws as they silently landed. Neither the leader, marked by an ugly scar, nor the crippled Aragorn spoke. The amber and gray eyes locked.
Wow, where did that come from???

| Alright, just one thing: State what the Malos are in your post the first time you mention them. I know that it's another pack of wolves, but there may be more to them than that. So, instead of saying, "The call of the Malos rent the air, only magnified by the wind," you could say something like, "The call of the Malos, the blood-thirsty rival pack that seemed bent on his destruction, was only manifested in the wind."
Just to clear that up. ^.- Other than that, there's really nothing more I can say. Give Suka a try, she might be able to help more.

The call of the Malos rent the air, only magnified by the wind. What were the Malos? Just the worst thing a wolf could have bent on destroying them. They were demon-wolves that had be re-animated after death. They were after Aragorn, for he had what their master wanted- Aragorn simply was the heir to the biggest pack In the land. A white head appeared at the top of the canyon walls, followed by more.
