Finally...

Mudpelt came in sight of a huge body of water.
" What is that Kuna," Mudpelt asked. He usually remembered more stuff than she did.
" That is a lake, Mudpelt," He said patting her shoulder with a hoofed leg.
Mudpelt nodded and advance to the lake. She jumped in just for fun and had a fun time looking at all the fish. She soon got tired of all the greeen and jumped back out. She took a look a round the outside of the lake and continued to follow Keovi's scent. Mudpelt soon scented more than Keovi's scent. When she finally spotted him talking to another wolf she wasnt quite so sure she still wanted to talk to him. But she persisited onward, shaking the water from her pelt.
" Hey Keovi. I brought you a rabbit. Who's your friend," Mudpelt asked shyly. The female looked friendly.

Dawn got distracted by Keovi and looked past him, seeing another wolf advance from behind him. "Hello," Dawn greeted the new wolf and her anima. "I'm Dawn, and this is Elleron," she introduced herself and the fox cub once again.

Elleron got a bit scared at all of the wolves around and he got under Dawn. He sat between her forelegs, visible, but still hidden.

Keovi jumped at the fimilar voice. He and Tkara looked back, and Keovi smiled and wagged his tail. " Hi Mudpelt, these are just a few wolves I saw comming down here... The say they aren't a pack, I guess something happened though." He turned back to Dawn, giving her a questioning look in asking what was happening.

Dawn returned his gaze. "I found Nightwalker, this pup, in the river. I saved him, then more wolves showed up. One, her name was Poison, her anima bit Delila, Nightwalker's anima, and so he felt the affects also. I managed to carry Nightwalker and Delila back here, safe from the other wolves at the riverbed. Though," she glanced back at the other two who had followed her, "I had been followed."

" Oh well that was nice of you to save the pup. My name is Mudpelt and this is Kuna or Kunamition," Mudpelt intrudced herself. Mudpelt put the rabbit on the ground and looked around at all the other wolves. There was a unusuall amount of wolves gathered and they wernt in a pack.

" Oh, wow." He said, again looking to Nightwalker, and tilting his head slightly. " What's your name, pup?" he asked. Takara turned to Mudpelt and sniffed the rabbit, and smiled gratefully up to her, and sat down next to Kuna, watching the wolves and Keovi curiously.

Nightwalker culd scent yet another wolf, this wolf seemed to know Keovi. he was starting to get annoying by how many times they had to explian his story. he looked towards where he heard Keovi's voice and replyed "my name is Nightwalker but its more a title then a name."

Keovi tilted his head more, a little surprised at him saying this. " Why, cause your blind? Thats not right." He said quietly. " I knew a blind wolf a long time ago when I was a pup like you and he was about as normal as anyone else." He said in a matter-of-fact- tone. Takara nodded then realized he couldn't see and said, " Ya he was a pretty impressive wolf. Forget his name though, we haven't seen or heard from that pack in a while." She said. Keovi got back up and started walking in the other direction. Takara was already surprised at how he handled all the wolves when she thought he'd turn tail and run. He sat down when he reached Mudpelt and began to sniff hungrily at the rabbit.

" Go ahead Keovi, I did bring it for you," Mudpelt's antention was on the blind pup.
" Why dont you tell us your story. I bet its an interesting one," Mudpelt said. The pup looked like he needed to be cheered up , but Mudpelt had no idea what to do.

Iceheart turned to Dawn and nuzzled Dawn. Iceheart was in shock. She ate some poppy seeds, and soon went to sleep next to Dawn.

Keovi wagged his tail and started eating, mumbling "Thanks" through a mouthful of meat. Takara got up and took a few paces towards the lake, and waded in, deciding to try and catch fish for fun instead. ' Your acting different.' She sent a silent mesage to him. ' Ya, well.. I guess I'm just in a good mood. Rabbit?' ' No thanks you seem hungry I'll catch me a fish.'

" Looks like I might need to catch so more. Im a horrible friend if im letting you starve like this. If you need some more just tell me and I'll go catch some," Mudpelt said smiling. She loved helping out.

Nightwalker was intresting and learning more about this blind wolf. he was about to ask when the other wolf asked about him. he looked towards her voice " theres not much to tell, i was born blind so this darkness is all i ever known. but even though i was blind i learned to find my way using my other senses. i even became good enough to keep up with the pack. but one morning after i woken up my pack was gone, the only still by my side was Delila."

" Wow, that is great that you learned how to do regular things even though your blind," Mudpelt had a new repsect for the pup.

Keovi looked up from the rabbit, now frowning. " Mudpelt you don't need to get my anything else, youve given me your own dinner and caught me another. I should be the one hunting for you now." He stopped eating, and watched Takara for a moment as she pulled out a small fish from the water in her jaws. She shook the water off her and trotted over to Kuna, dropping the fish near her hooves and slightly tilting her head.

" Thank you Takara," Kuna said kindly. Maybe he was wrong about this pair.
Mudpelt looke at Kuna and was extrememley glad that he now trusted her friends.
" Think nothing of it please. It was my gift to you, keep eating if your hungry. And thank you Takara," Mudpelt said splitting the fish with Kuna. The fish was very appetizing.
"You are quite a good hnter," Mudpelt said finnishing the fish.

Icestar was able to speak now, but she was still trembling " I-I-I thank you f-for helping me Dawn. I will get some food for you now." She got up and rsn to the lake. She waited patiently, and flashed her paw in again and again. she came out with several large fish, and brought them back to the group.

(Just as a little tip- when wolves hunt fish, they'd use their jaws for the catching, not their paws. and ya sorry i know he's a he, i accidentally put she there)

Takara nodded and gave them both a little grin. "Thanks, we have to teach ourselves, but lately we haven't had much luck. " She said and went back into the water to look for more fish, but this time she went in little deeper after changing form into a larger Fisher. Keovi Looked to Mudpelt and smiled faintly. " Well thanks then. But still, I'll hunt for myself, need to practice it anyway." He returned to the rabbit, finishing it in a few more bites.

Keovi looked back at the group, and started feeling his shyness return. 'Maybe we should go now, we know who they are and why they're here, now its getting uncomfortable having all those wolves here...' He said to Takara. ' Well it's up to you, but really they arent doing anything to you and maybe you might make some more friends here, like Nightwalker, seems he's pretty unhappy.' Keovi sighed out loud and looked to the little blind pup.

"yeah i guess so but there are still alot of things i can't do" Nightwalker admited. his thoughts were still on the blind wolf that Keovi mentioned he wanted to more about this wolf. he stood up walked towards Keovi and sat down right infront of him " can you tell more about that the blind wolf you met?"

Takara shrugged. " I dunno, Keovi always seemed more wary around groups of wlolves, but he does wish to join one too. I'm not sure he'd have the courage to try." She sighed, changing back into a Pine Marten and slightly curling up to listen to Keovi.

Keovi sat next to Nightwalker, trying to remember all the times he was with his old pack. " Well sure. When I was real little, my old pack lived near this area here, but across the forests. My parents were the alphas and I think I had a brother and sister. I forget his name, but there was a large gray and brown wolf. He was a subordinate, but he was highly respected by all of us. Reason being was that he did so much! He was one of the wisest wolves in our pack, he knew well of the changing of seasons, how to tell the time of the day even though he could see no sun, and was very good with direction. His sense of smell was magnificent too, he was always taken to every hunt, because he was always first to scent the prey. He learned it all by guiding himself through our wold using the senses he did have. Why, his memory was so good that once he explored an area he could walk it like any other wolf because he remembered where every tree stood and every rock lay." He smiled, lost in past memories.

" Oh no thank you. Hey do you think Keovi might stay. Because I like this group of wolves and I think I might stay with them. I ahve been searching for a pack to join," Mudpelt said.

Iceheart was feeling better. She asked "Hey it's geting late, shall I make a nest for anyone?"

"well i can do all of that too well at least i could at Anulu Riverbed thats where my pack spent most of its time at so i got to know it really well but this is the first time i've been here so i guess i have to learn this place now." Said Nightwalker

" Well that's good then. Maybe you'll grow up to be as wise as he was. All I can tell you is to really stay in tune to those other senses of yours, I'm sure you'll find your way even without sight." He finished and bent down to lick him paws, which were still a bit bloody from his earlier meal.
