Finally...

Nightwalker sighed and mumbled to himself " i wanna be more then just wise sounds like like that wolf was just a tracker, i wanna learn how to hunt for myself too. But maybe thats just imposable for a for a blind wolf."

Keovi heard him and stopped grooming. " That wolf was a tracker, yes, but he could hunt for himself too. He was a great fisher, he could catch anything rabbit-sized and smaller too, by listening very closely. And that's pretty good for a blind wolf, though he wasn't always successful, that's why he could never bare to leave our pack. " He said, pausing. " You should never be alone, Nightwalker, not just because your blind but your very young. What happened to you?" He asked curiously.

Nightwalker hated telling how was abanded because he was blind but he didn't mind telling it as much as he used to "i was abanded by my pack, they thought my blindness was too much of a burden and they left me alone. but i do still have Delila but shes to over protective, she never really lets me do things on my own but i guess almost drowing while tring to fish has something to do with that."

Mudpelt nodded to what Takara had said. She then moved closer to where Nightwalker and Keovi were and laid down. She wanted to learn as much as she could from both wolves.

" She only cares for you, and sometimes you just have to accept other's protection. With careful practice you'll be able to easily get by on your own, as long as you use every sense and tread carefully. " He sighed. " Your pack seems alot different from my own in that they saw your blindness as a weakness. i was raised to think that wolves like you are to be respected, because they see the world in a different, maybe clearer way than we do ourselves. Of course my pack abandoned me too, I don't know whether or not to trust it all..." He looked to his paws. He hadn't spoken of any of this in so long, let alone spoke anything that long. Takara felt his uneasiness and cuddled agaisnt him, curling into his side and rolling onto her back, half hidden in his fur.

Nightwalker sighed " yes i know shes just trying to protect me but it can be so annoying sometimes. i know she mean well but i wish sould would just let me do more things on my own.i guess i could be i bit more careful though, Deilila knows better then anyone how stubbern and reckless i can be" he stood and sniffed Keovi "your pack abandoned you too? but why" he asked

"I don't really know. I have a theory though. You see, when I was young, our prey recourses were very low one winter, my first. My mother was having trouble feeding me and my siblings and I happened to be the weakest. One night while I was sleeping I woke up in a deserted den, and the entrance was buried in. after I dug myself out, nobody was there, and their scents were stale. " He said, almost calmly enough to be discussing weather. " Of course I thought something bad might have happened and I went to go find them, but never did. I think they meant to abandon me there, leave me to die so I wouldn't be their responsibility." He finished, now sniffing at the extra fish Takara had caught.

"then i guess we are kind of the same...." the scent from te fish was starting to make his mouth water he had not eaten since Dawn carried him here. the scents from a few rabbits in the forest wasn't helping. Nightwalker decided to ask some more questions to keep his mind of hunger " how did you survive without your pack?"

Keovi shrugged. " I guess I was just lucky. Of course I had Takara to help me. She's a great fisher so I ate alot of fish in my time. " He smiled at her, she was almost asleep, curled into a tight ball at his side." I'm still not a great hunter but I know how to get around well, and I'm pretty good with tracking, which for me is enough. I have only lived around here, survival isn't very hard by this lake, lots of prey, though you have to catch it first." He said, now nosing the fish towards Nightwalker. " Have it, I'm now hungry anymore" He said. He yawned and laid next to Mudpelt, keeping one eye open in caution as he rested.

Mudpelt decided to sleep her for the night. Kuna changed into a wild cat and curled up ontop of Mudpelt and slept.
Mudpelt yawned and then laid her head down. She soon fell asleep.

"I fortunately wasn't abandoned. I was about to become deputy, which is second in command, and mentor to my favorite pup in all of the clan but a storm and tornado came through our camp. Stormkit was with me when he died". Iceheart looked down, and tears dripped off her muzzle. She turned away, and got to w.orkIceheart made several nests then turned to Nightwalker. "Would you like me to show you how to make a nest? If you're to tired tonight, I can show you tomorrow."

"that sounds just like what Delila has being doing for me exept she can catch small rabbits." Nightwalker turned his head and looked right at Delila as if his eyes could see where she was. he heard Keoiv pushing the fish towards him, he tuned back around and sniffed the fish "thank you, come on Delila i knowyour hungry too" Delila stood up and walked over next to him "did you enjoy your talk with Keoiv". "i guess so, i found out that me and Keoiv are kind of the same and i didfind out more about that blind wolf even though its not really what i wanted to hear." he replyed.

Nightwalkers ears twicthed when he heard what Iceheart asked him. he turned to face her " how are going to SHOW me anything i'm blind remember i can't make a nest."

"sorry, I meant teach you" She spoke cooly and calmly, and no emotion had flickered across her face. She had known a blind wolf as sensitive as this, her father. "My father couldn't see as well. He became deputy before me, and died valiently in battle. You could be like him if you are trained, taught, mentored, or what ever you want to call it."

"i think i'll pass on that i don't want to be like anyone who has been killed" he turned back around and started to nibble on the fish. Delila nudged Nightwalker " Nightwalker i thought you learned to control your anger afther your chat with Chloe" Nightwalker didn't say anything

Keovi tilted his head while watching Nightwalker. " No need to snap there, she was only asking to you as she would any other. Isn't that what you would be wanting?" He said, merely surprised. Takara opened an eye and looked at him for a moment. She could tell alot was still troubling the pup. She sighed and closed her eyes again. Keovi lifted his head towards Iceheart, " I don't need a nest, thanks anyway. The ground is soft and warm enough for me." He said, sounding a little shy, he hadn't spoke to that wolf yet. He put his head back down, burying his muzzle under his paws and closing his eyes, resting with other wolves for the first time in a while.

Iceheart stiffened then relaxed. "I'm sorry to have offended you, Nightwalker. I meant that he had a purpose in life. In the Clans, It was an honor to be killed honorably in open battle by the most terrible cat ever, than to die of an ambush or of sickness." Iceheart stopped, and emotion flickered across her face. Nightwalker, would you like a new name, one that won't make you mad all the time? I can feel that much troubles you. I believe a new name is what you need.

Nightwalker finshed his share of the fish and pushed the rest of it towards Delila "so what you think i have no purpose in life now, and you think just changeing my name could make anything different. Its not my name that makes me angry its wolves like you who could not possiably understand what i have to go through every day of my life and try to tell me they understand how i feel. You try waking up to nothing but darkness everyday and tell me how you feel about it. Nightwalker stood up "come on Deilila we'er leaving now."

Nigthwalker listened to Chloe's voice as she stepped closer to him. he just couldn't understand it why everyone was persistant, he just wanted to be alone away from all the other the wolves. why couldn't they just him have what he wanted. " But why, why do you want to come with me" his voice was more calm now but he still spoke in a annoyed tone. Delila wasn't sure what she could do, she wanted Nightwalker to stay near this wolves that way he wouldn't have to alone but see knew she couldn't talk him out of it his mind was made up.

Nightwalker thought about what she said, he didn't like like to be alone either. He could remeber how he felt when it was just him and Delila and how he cried every night because he thought he would always be alone like that. he turned his head away from from Chloe when he could feel tears coming from his eyes. he was overcomed with his past memories. "ok". Delila was even a little surprised by his reaction but see smiled and nuzzled Nightwalker.
