The beginning of a new

Glacier whined very lightly, taking a few steps away from the young wolf. Azarius looked at her, a little puzzled but saw fear in her eyes. 'Its ok, hes just had some tough times.. Hes only acting like this cause of that.' ' He's so strange, he acts crazy, I-I think he might hurt us.' 'Nonsense...' He tried to reassure her but she was starting to make sense. This wolf randomly wandered into their area and blindly attacks them. Now he seems innocent and is ranting on about this strange horror of a wolf pack? Azarius shook slightly the more he thought about how odd this situation was. It frightened him as well. Now as a mouse, he crawled over to Glacier and climbed onto her head. She was crouched a little, with her tail under her and ears back, but said nothing. 'Your okay with him staying?' Azarius asked her. ' I guess, he IS just a pup, but.. well we'll be fine, right? he'll be better once he's with us.' She said to him.

He stared at the wolves hopefully "i really want a home, your'e all so different from my old pack.. you seem kind. I promise I won't use my powers until yyou let me."

War stepped back a pace as Kena hissed kindly and followed War. War's lightning strikes were going down Kena was happy she was now calm but on her guard

"No tricks or I'll have no choice but to leave you," Kazuro warned, his tone calmer. "Understand? Mind your powers and you'll have a great pack to live in." Kazuro glanced at Zura, who nodded in silent agreement. That was the right thing, she murmured privately. Kazuro didn't reply, he only looked to the faces of each member of the pack to see what their reaction would be. If too many of them disagreed... he cleared the thought. He'd set the rules for this pup, there was no danger. They'd just have to be careful for a while; make sure they could trust them.

lucifer had been flying by when he heard the comotion landing on a rock not far away he saw a pack of wolves. he was going to walk twords them but then he saw Kazuro. landing on his shoulder his anima wispered in his ear, "Go get him, you know you want too!" uttering a very loud growl he shook his head and said back to his anima, "No. Were leaving." Leaping back into the air he flew off twards the direction he was flying too before he saw the wolves.

Crescent walked beside Kazuro and leaned against him, she could not beleave that it was just a small pup that caused all of this. she still know what to think of the pup, but it was just a pup and she did agree with him. they couldn't just turn down a pup it wouldn't be right. she closed eys and rubbed her muzzle against his neck fur " Kazuro you really have changed into a great leader. i just wish i could change as much as you have, i still as timid and cowaredly as when we first met."

Sai was standing beside Glacier and just stared at the pup, at least that would explain why he wasn't effected by its lighting. he had no objections to Kazuro's decsion, Sai wasn't the one to let a pup go off on its own even though it did attack them.

Glacier leaned slightly on Sai, sighing a little. " Well that was a lot of action in such a small time. I'm tired now. "She yawned. Azarius yawned as well, but when his mouth closed he suddenly perked his ears and stood on his hind feet. " Whats up?" Glacier asked him, trying to listen for whatever he heard. " I heard a wolf growl." He stated, climbing up onto her head as a mouse again, and looking off towards the sky. "There" He pointed with his paw into the air where a barely visible figure was rising into the air and retreating the opposite direction. Glacier seemed not to care so much, her eyes just followed it as it left. " Well he's leaving now." She yawned again, while Azarius turned his gaze back on the pup called Ninja, taking one wary glance back at the sky.

War growled deeply, she heard it too. War followed the sent and growled more deeply "Who are you?" she asked once she caught up to him

sitting there was a pup. it seemed to not notice war. one of its eyes was blind because of a scar.

Kazuro closed his eyes, feeling Crescent beside him. "I wouldn't have changed at all if it wasn't for you. And you don't have to worry about that; you have me. I'll protect you. You'll change just like me." He was silent for a moment, until Zura's urgent call sounded in his mind. Kazuro! Look! It's Lucifer! she hissed. Kazuro looked up immediately, only to see a faint shape retreating over the horizon. He let out a low growl, baring his teeth slightly. "How dare he come back?" he muttered under his breath. "He'll be a problem for a while." A movement in the corner of his eye distracted him and he turned to see War darting after a scent. Kazuro, with Zura on his heels, ran after her. "What is it, War?" he asked as he came to a stop beside her. then he saw the pup; the same one from before. The one who kidnapped Zura and terrorized Crescent. Kazuro bared his teeth again, the fur on his neck bristling slightly. "You again," he muttered.

Glacier's ears perked a little and she begain trotting slowly after Kazuro. " A pup? What do you mean 'You again'?" She asked, reaching him and War and looking down curiously on the pup. 'Look, it must be blind in that eye.' Azarius said to her, peeking out from behind her paw now. 'Ya, feels like Kazuro knows this pup.' She said warily, keeping her distance from the pup feeling the same scared feeling she got from Ninja. Why were these pups just showing up with such strange things about them? This went unknown in her mind and instict made her wary of things she didnt know much about. She stayed still and quiet.

War growled "Another pup?!?! how many are we going to have!" War mumbled

"Crescent and I had a problem with this pup before you joined the pack," Kazuro explained, glaring down at the small body. "He almost killed Zura. He snuck up behind her and knocked her out. Then he dragged her off. Thankfully I found them before they could do anything to her," he added, glancing briefly down at his anima who was glaring at the pup also, clearly remembering the attack. "They both left after that and I haven't seen them since," he finished, returning his gaze back on the pup.

twisting around at the sound of kazuro's voice the wolves could see that the pup's other eye was swollen shut because of a very fresh claw mark. it was seeping blood. staggering backward the pup steped on a pile of loose rocks and lost it's balence and began sliding down the mountain screaming. finaly the pup hit a rock and stopped sliding. the pup did not move.

War ran down to get the pup with fear "Please dont die" War picked up the pup and brought it to Kazuro "You cant just let a pup die, dont be heartless" She looked at him strait in the eye

Glacier almost yelped as the pup turned its head. Azarius let out a tiny squeal of surprise and fright, but he clasped his paws over his mouth and looked at the pup with strong sympathy. " It's blind!" He said quietly, which turning into a louder gasp as the pup fell. " Is it okay?" He called out. Glacier, still worried but also still wary, carefully placed her paws on the rock to look down to see where the pup landed. " This pup tried to terrorize you? It seems pretty helpless now.." She said. " Should we help it?" Her fur was slightly bristled and she was still alert and afraid both for it, and because of all she was so unsure about.

War's eyes were a brighter red then usual, Still looking Kazuro in the eyes she slide the pup to him "It wont hurt anyone now" War said in her now normal strong voice. Kena slithered up to War, his eyes were burning as well. Kena hissed politely "I agree with War, it wont do harm now." War and Kena's eyes were burning in unison.

Kazuro took a slight step back in shock at the pup's face, and grasped at it quickly as it fell. His jaws met nothing but air as the pup slid downward. He stood speechless as War returned the pup in front of him. His teeth unbared and his fur back to normal, he said very slowly to the pup, "Who did this to you?" His expression held no hostility; only worry and controlled anger to whoever did this.

Zura almost jumped when the pup turned. She gasped as it fell and was as silent as Kazuro as War returned with it. She crouched low under Kazuro, watching the pup with sheer worry in her eyes. She was too soft to be mad about anything the pup had done before. The tip of her tail twitched as she waited for the pup's responce to Kazuro's question.

War and Kena stepped back and waited for the Pup to answer Kazuro.

rolling up into a ball the pup spoke, "n, nathen... he betreyed.. betrayed me." the pup was shivering with fear, or was it anger? "betrayed...."

War was getting tired of this "who by Reno is Nathan?" She asked inpasiently

the pup shook even harder. "Nathen is, is my.... my anima."

War's jaw dropped "YOUR ANIMA!?!?!" She howled

Kazuro blinked in surprize. "Your... anima?" he echoed. He glanced down at Zura who was still crouched beneath him, her restless tail had stopped twitching and she crouched still with her eyes wide. Uncertainly, Kazuro glanced around the faces of his pack, resting on Crescent for a moment, then Glacier, War, Sai, and their animas. He searched their faces, then turned back to the cowering pup, uncertain of what to make of it.

War looked at Kazuro hoping to get some help with what she should say. She was thunderstruck to doubt about that and so was kena
