The beginning of a new

As soon as the doe fell, Kazuro switched his posistion to it's neck. He bit down and felt the struggles as it tried to take a breath. It's struggles became less violent until it finally stopped moving altogether. He released his grip on the carcass, looking to his packmates. "Nice job," he praised them.

War bowed her head to her new alpha "Our pleasure" War looked hungry at the carcass "may i eat?"

ninja lumbered in and snarled. He turned to the wolves and roared. Stealth by his side yipped. He let out a fearsome display of lightning and was gone. Then, he appeared behind them and let out more lightning.

Glacier watched the doe grow silent and she felt a trimphant little glow inside her. She looked to sai and smiled happily with her tail wagging. " Nice kill, huh? I think this will-" She paused, with her eyes fixed on something behindn Sai, and then she yelped and jumped, seeing a black wolf starting to shoot lighting out at them. At First she cowered with her tail between her legs and eyes closed, scared of being hurt, but she felt Azarius clining to her sside, shivering badly, and she suddenly felt she should be brave for her new pack. She rose with her teeth bared, looking for their attacker. "Sneak attack! Real fair!" She snarled, mostly to herself. Her ghostly blue gaze finally saw him behind them but again she was facing more lighting. She looked to the rest of the pack, oping one of them would be able to help.

War growled with anger and shot Lightning bolts back at the wolf that dare attack them then lunged at the wolf "WHat do you want?"War and Kena hissed as he was turning back into his cobra form.

Sai countinued to bite down on the deers flank untill he could no longer feel it breathing. he lifted his head and wagged his tail it had been so long since he had been in a good hunt. he looked up at Glacier and returned the smile she gave him. "yeah it is" he repled, he was lisening to what she was saying but she suddenly stopped. it looked like she was looking past him so he turned around to she what she was looking at but nothing was there. Hackle was standing beside Glacier when thw wolf appered behind them and a flash of lighting. "Sai over here" she called as she turned to face the wolf. Sai turned around and quickly jumped in front of Glacier he bared his teeth at the wolf. "What do you want this is not your territory"

War snarled "I am not giving this wolf a chance to answer!" She growled and pinned the strange wolf to the ground "GET OUT" She snarled with hatred

Kazuro snarled with rage and his paws burst into an inferno. His yellow eyes turned amber as he glared at the wolf. He jumped in front of Crescent and bared his teeth at the wolf War had pinned down. He walked over, as it seemed the wolf was extremely outnumbered and unable to move. He continued snarling. "What do you want? Can't you see how outnumbered you are here?" He couldn't believe that a wolf would pick a fight with the biggest pack on the island of Reon.

Glacier and Azarius watched as the wolf was pinned, with Glacier barking her agreement at kazuro's word. Azarius was still a small, frightened mouse, carefully watching the stranger to be sure he didnt try anything tricky. " Be careful war.." Glacier growled cautiosly. She padded up next to Sai to look down at the wolf, carefully sniffing the air for any kind of fimilar scent but found none. 'I hope nobody gets hurt in this..' She heard Azarius's thoughts and silently agreed back.

War took her eyes of the wolf "I will be fine" and then got off the wolf

Kazuro made sure he was between Crescent and the stranger. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if she was hurt. He growled, but remained where he was, waiting for the wolf's explination. Zura, still a lynx, came to stand beside War, her teeth bared and her ears flat against her head. There was no way the wolf could win. It was two against ten. Glacier, Azarius, Sai, Hackle, she and Kazuro, Crescent and Whisker, and War and Kena (I think it's Kena? o.O) are all able fighters.

War showed her sharp and dagger fangs while Kena hissed. There was no way on earth this wolf could win.

Crescent stayed behind Kazuro she had no idea why this wolf would come out of no where and attack them. it started her and even though she was surronded by her pack mates she felt afaird. she had never been in a fight before and didn't want to be in one now. started to shiver, she flanted her ears and took a step back.

War saw fear in Crescent's eyes "Do not be afraid" She said soothingly but not like she was talking to a pup

Ninja snarled...and was gone like smoke, and behind them again, with another ,more ferocious display of lightning, then was gone.

Glacier closed her eyes as soon as she saw the wolf disappear, and whined loudly as a static shock went through her fur. When she felt nothing more she looked up with wide eyes around the whole area. " Is he gone then?" She asked the group, cautiously lifting her wing about to take off and see from an aerial view to find the wolf if it was needed. Azarius changed into a fox cub again, crawling over to Hacklle and Sai. " Are you two alright?" He asked, his voice shaky.

War walked off without a sound but before she went to far Kena slithered over to the others and kissed kindly "She wants to go find the wolf she says "See ya soon" Sometimes that wolf" Kena hissed kindly and slithered off to War.

Kazuro, still growling, watched the wolf dissapear. He flinched as he took a lightning bolt to the shoulder in his attempt to protect Crescent. He glanced back, and saw that she was alright. He turned to where the wolf dissapeared and saw War heading off in that direction. "Its-" he started, but the anima slithered away. He had wanted to say 'Its too dangerous by yourself,' but it seemed War wanted to go. He turned to Glacier. "When I know the danger is not present anymore, will you go out and search for War? We need to make sure she is not to be harmed, and your wings will make you faster than the rest of us." His paws distinguished themselves and his eye color returned it's normal yellow. "Is everyone alright?" he asked, turning to address the others.

War wondered with Kena by her side her eyes were glowing and Kena's were as well.

Sai was hit by a strat bolt of lighting but shook it off, being able to use lighing attacks him self gave him som resistance to it. he turned around and faced "Glacier are you all right" he asked with a bit of conceren in his voice. Hackled awnsered for the both of them "we are just fin it take a lot more then a little lighting to bring us down."

Cresent watched as the wolf suddenly disappered then reappared behind them. she saw Kazuro was hit in the shoulder with a lighting bolt in the shoulder just before the wolf disappered again. "K-Kazuro are you alright." she walked up beside him and began to lick his shoulder.

Kena was in front of War "Wanna rabbit War?" He asked kindly. War smiled "Sure" War said warmly as Kena caught a rabbit and gave it to War, they stopped and ate.

Glacier wagged her tail as a response to Sai and nodded at Kazuro's words. " When your ready, then." She said, lowering her wings to her sides. Azarius let out a sigh of releif. " That wolf was mad! Come and attack a wolf pack, then turn and run at the next second. War shouldnt of let that wolf go, he could be out hurting more wolves by now." He said barring his teeth and looking off into the distance fo a moment. He sighed again and sat down next to Hackle while Glacier continued to glance in the dirrection the wolf dissapeared, her fur on her back was still on end.

"Yes, I'm alright," Kazuro said to Crescent. "I'm just glad it didn't hurt you." He tore his gaze away from her to the rest of the pack. It seemed everyone was alright enough. He turned to look at the carcass; they hadn't even began eating it yet. "You all eat, I'll watch in case that wolf decides to come back," he said.

Zura padded over to every wolf and anima, personally making sure they all were okay. She hadn't been harmed at all during the attack. She turned back into her true form, an Ocelot, and went over to Sai. "Sai, are you okay?" she asked. "You got hit by a bolt of lightning, and it looked pretty nasty."

Sai was glad Glacier was alright, he wondered why a wolf woulf just attack them without warning. what could it have been possible thinking, he looked down at Zure as she asked him as alright, "dont worry it wasn't as bad as it looked in fact it didn't really hurt. i'm able to use lighting to i have some resistance to it." Hackle transformed nack into a hyena "woooo he said we can eat" he eagerly walked up to the elk and began to bite into his flank.

Cresent contuned to lick Kazuro shoulder she only stopped to look up at him "i-i'm sorry Kazuro you wouldn't have gotten hit if it wasn't for me."

Kazuro lowered his head to push his muzzle into her white fur. "Don't worry about it. It didn't hurt that much," he murmures reasuringly. "I wouldn't let it hit you, it's okay." He nuzzled her slightly, the glanced back up and around on the look out for the wolf. "Go eat with the others, Crescent," he said, looking back down at her. "I'm okay, I promise."

Zura nodded at Sai, "Thats good, I'm glad," she meowed. She smiled briefly at him, then turned to the carcass. She tore out a big piece and padded over to Kazuro. she laid it in front of him, then turned and walked back to the carcass to eat.

There was no need for Kazuro to thank Zura; for the time they had spent alone together they rarely ever spoke. They did everything for eachother, neither one murmuring a thanks because they knew that the other was grateful. He lowered his head and gulped it down in two quick bites, returning his gaze to the rocks of the mountains.
