The beginning of a new

Sai stood to his paws and wlked over to Kazuro "i have never hunted in the mountains before but i should be fine." he looked over to Glacierhe wished that he could go with her so they could have more time alone to talk. Hackle finshed her mouse "your to picky Azu its meat, all meat is good. though i do like elk much better then mice, lucky fo you huh?" she ended that sentce witha chuckle

Glacier nodded and took off the ledge after glancing over to Sai and giving him a quick smile before she disappeared. Azarius looked after her for a second then turned back to Hackle, playfully jumping on her and trying to wrestle her to the ground, the mouse forgotten momentarily. In the air, Glacier was trying to concentrate on finding some signs of life on the mountain, while trying to keep away her thoughts of Sai. Soon enough she spotted a heard of elk near the bottom of the mountain, but also some mountain goats nearby her old den. She did a twist and turn in the air to return to the cave.

War ran up to Glacier's side while Kena rapped around her back "I cant wait to tase fresh kill!" she said quietly

Glacier's paws landed softly back on the smooth cave floor. " I saw an elk herd and some mountain goats. The elk were further down the mountain, but the goats were a little higher up, by my old den." She reported. Her gaze followed War as she bounded up beside her, and when she got there, wagged her tail in greeting. "You seemed to have perked up." She said casually to War.

War wagged her tail back. War nodded "Yeah there was no point in being sad! Besides i got a new pack now with friends! There was no turning back!" Kena flicked his tongue in happiness

Kazuro nodded, silently thanking Glacier. She'd make a good Scout, if not a Beta. He thought momentarily about the choices of prey. The mountain goats were closer, but they were swifter and a lot harder to catch on the rocks of the mountain. The elk herd was farther, but they were bigger and easier to catch; their size making them clumsy on the rocks. "We'll go after the elk herd," he decided aloud. "Glacier, can you take us to where you saw the herd?" he asked, turning his yellow eyes on her.

"Yes, of course, Kazuro." She said, and turned towards the entrance, but stood and waited for them all to leave the cave. Azarius sensed Glacier was ready to leave and he jumped off Hackle after giving her quick playfull nip on the ear. He bounded over beside her and ran a circle around her before stopping and wagging his tail.

War wagged her tail and smelled the air her ears went up and Kena hissed softly "I think i smell them there is a weak one" War said seioursly

Sai wasn't all that thrilled about having to travle across the mountains. he still wasn't to confident in his footing when the mountains. it would be something he would have to get used to while in this pack. Hackle tried to nip azu's tail as he walked away, she changed into a mouse and scurried to the top o Sai's head. she knew she wasn't any better climbing the mountans then he was but if she could avoid it she would "well what are u waiting for,lets go Sai." Sai sighed "easy for you to say you never walk around the mountains yourself." he walked walked out of the den looking at Glacier as he did so.

War giggled when Sai came out of the den looking at Glacier "Ready?" she asked smiling.

Glacier followed them down the mountain towards the elk herd. Her skilled paws leaped from the rocks and didn't slip once. Azarius was still a fox, bounded between her and Hackle. He suddly stopped when he noticed movement up ahead. " Look, I see em'!" He whispered to the group, dropping low. Glacier caught up to Sai's side and Helped his down a few more rocks with a steady guiding tail. She dropped low to await instruction.

War followed swiftly "good thing i am hungry now!"

Glacier carefully glacned over her shoulder. " shh, we don't want to be heard just yet. If they run now we might never catch them." She said quietly. Azarius crept up to War's side and crouched down while he played with the loose dirt at his paws

Kazuro followed Glacier down the mountain until Azu alerted them to the rest of the pack. He dropped low and flicked his tail to Zura. Zura silently nodded and circled far around the herd to the other side. They did this move many times before, there was no need to speak between them. She transformed herself into a lynx there and waited for the signal. This was the first time Kazuro had ever hunted with a pack. Usually it was just him and Zura. He turned to Glacier. "Follow Zura's trail to the other side of the herd," he said quietly. "Wait for a signal there and we'll ambush them. Take Azarius, also."

Kena transformed into a coyote pup, War smiled as she smelled elk in her nose "Ok" She whispered

Glacier nodded very slightly, so as not to startle the herd. When she and Azarius always hunted they used stealth to catch up to the herds, then Glacier would always attack from the sky so she could easily catch up to even the fastest of prey. Azarius herd Kazuro's orders and started making his way quietly towards Zura as a mouse, sticking to the shadows in the rock crevices until he got there. Glacier slowly followed

Cresent watched as Glaicer and her anima and Zura made their way around the herd she turned he head to the herd i hope i'll be if some help i've never tried to hunting any thing this big before Whisker could sense her thought and rub his tail against her side " you'll be just fine"

it had been a long time since Sai had hunted elk he was getting a bit excited. so excited that that lightingbolts on his shoulders where already starting to glow, maybe a good was just what he needed.

War saw the lightning bolts glow on Sai she looked down at hers they were larger she looked at Kena hoping for some help but Kena shook his head. War was so existed to finally hunt again she almost growled but stopped herself.

Kazuro glanced on both sides of him, making sure Sai, Crescent, and War were ready. He turned his attention back to the herd and picked out an elderly female. Her hoof seemed to be giving her trouble and she couldn't maneuver the rocks like the rest of her herd could. He watched for a moment then dashed forward, raising his voice in a howl signaling for the others to join him. He headed straight to the elderly doe and his fangs found her side.

Zura followed Kazuro's gaze to the elderly doe. She got low and waited egarly for the signal. When she heard the howl she exploded out of the bushes and sprang at the doe. She sank her claws into her back and dug her teeth in also to keep her hold on the elk.

War took a huge leap of power and speed to the old doe's other side and inbeaded her fangs into the old doe's side

Glacier dashed forward when her ears pricked at Kazuro's howl. All her thoughts were on that one deer, and as she neared closer, she picked out a spot to go for. She decided on the legs, and as she went in to bite down on the elk's hind leg, Azarius shot out from the bushes as well in the form of a white fox, baring his teeth. " be careful around the legs!" He shouted as he caught up to the rest of them. the elk was bleating loudly and struggling to get away, but her hooves were beginning to trip on the rocks.

Sai ran launched himself toward the doe with the others he lunged at the doe and sunk his fangs into the deer's side beside Kazuro. Hackle scurried up to the back of the deer and transfprmed into a bobcat and bit into the doe's back.

cresernt followed Kazuro shortly after he ran towards the deer. she saw Glacier go for the legs and thought she would give her a hand. she bit doen into the elks other hid leg.

Kena quickly turned into a lynx and bit the front legs as War dug her fangs in closer

With all the weight of the wolves and Anima, Azarius watched as the elk began to fall to the ground, her legs crippled and sides heaving with the struggle of her fight. Blood was everywhere now, staining the ground in some places, and also around Glacier's mouth, where she had found herself biting into a blood vessel in the elks leg.Azarius Leaped into the struggle with his teeth bared, ready to help finish it off. Glacier was holding tight onto the hind leg, ripping backwards to try and break the doe's ankle.

War goot the other ankle and soon the doe would die (MUAHAHAHA!) Kena bit REALLY hard on the doe's back leg
