He needs a pack.

"ANYONE?" the wolf yelled.Thunder waited for a bit and yelled again."DOES ANYONE WANT TO HELP ME START A PACK?"

Dawn walked through the plains with her head low. She could hear Elleron trotting along right behind her. Their whole trip up to the Plains had been quiet, they hadn't even talked to eachother privately through thought. Dawn pricked her ears when she heard another wolf up ahead. She hesitated then walked forward, close enough to see the wolf. "Hello?" she asked when he came into view. Elleron glanced at Dawn, then back at the wolf ahead and his anima.

Chips heard the wolf and ran onto Thunder.
"hello, what are you doing here?" he asked as the other wolf came."Its alright you can come down" Fade privatley said to chips.

(lol thats okay. ;D)

"I was just passing through, I'm sorry if I intruded on your teritory, I'll leave now if you want," Dawn said, taking one step back. She wasn't in the mood to fight, even if she was she would probably lose. The male was bigger than her, so he easily had the advantage.

"Ah, your fine.You can stay if you want.After all, I do need a pack."He grinned a little before He looked at Elleron as chips to to dawn.

Dawn was glad she was welcome here, instead of having to be chased off. Elleron hid behind Dawn's forepaw, looking at the wolf. Its alright, Elleron, she said to him privately. Elleron looked up at her, and he saw confidence in her eyes. He stepped out from under her to be seen fully. "So what's your name?" Dawn asked, looking back at the male. "I'm Dawn, and this is Elleron," she indicated by glancing at her anima.

"hello,Dawn.Hello, Elleron.I'm Thunder.(don't get mad if I say Fade I am used to it.>.<)This is..."Then chips squeaked."Chips!" He said as he crawled on to thunder's head.

Dawn smiled at Chips' energy. "Its nice to meet you both," she said, nodding politely. Her stomach growled suddenly and she realized that she hadn't eated anything ever since she rescued Nightwalker from the river before.

"You hungry?Here I'll catch a fawn."he said as he hopped after one.

Dawn flattened her ears in embarrasment, but she was grateful for food. She followed Thunder with Elleron right behind her.

Thunder finally caught it.He let it squirm a second before biting it's neck."Here.You are probably hungry." he scoooted it towards dawn as he stretched and sat down.Chips bounded towards the meat and tasted it.He made an awful sound before spitting it out.Thunder laughed a bit as he watched chips jump on him.

(Because her stomach growled and Thunder heard it. lul)

"Thanks," Dawn said happily, gulping down most of it. She laughed at Chips' attempt to eat it. Elleron joined her, taking a few delicate bites before sitting down. There was still some left, a lot, actually. "Do you want the rest?" she asked. "We're full."

"Sure.I wouldn't let it go to waste anyway."He ate the rest.
After he got done eating, he got chips a nut as she wandered around trying to understand the new world.A snake bit towards her as she ran back at Fade."Snake!" She squealed as she turned towards it.

Dawn stood up, surprised, but before she could react Elleron dashed forward. He transformed into a full-grown fox and set one paw expertly right behind the snake's head, pinning it down where its teeth couldn't reach him. He fastened one claw in the back of it's neck and bit down. He pulled hard and eventually ripped the head off of the snake. He threw the head to the side and transformed back into his regular fox cub form, taking his paw off of the snake's now writhing mass of body. Its movements kept slowing, then finally ended. He turned back to the wolves with a pleased smile on his face as he sat next to Dawn again. Dawn smiled back at him and looked up to Thunder. "He's used to dealng with snakes," she explained.

Thunder watched the entire thing."I can see."Chips wemt over to the snake, screamed again, and darted on to Thunder."It's dead don't worry"he said to chips.

Dawn stared at the snake's dead body, then back at Thunder. She just then realised that this wasn't the first time she had met this wolf before. "Are you that one wolf down at the Riverbank?" she asked, remembering Nightwalker and the way she had protected him from the other wolves. "I'm... sorry I acted that way, it was all in the well being of the pup," she apoligized.

"yes I was, actually.I understand though."he said.Looking to her and then the sky."there's a storm approaching.let's find shelter."he said trotting off towards a rock wall.

Dawn flattened her ears, but a cilly wind ruffled her fur, making her look up. He was right, a storm was coming. She got to her paws and trotted after him in search of shelter. As the first small drops began to fall, Elleron walked under the protection of Dawn, using her as a shield from the cold rain.

Chips used Ellerons idea.Then about after three minutes Fade found shelter.There was a small entrandce, but he fit through with plenty of extra space.He found a very large cave with lots of holes in the top for light.There were no bats so he knew this was perfect."this will work." he said backing out.Chips dug herself a small hole into the cave.She didn't like the rock entrance, so she went under the rock and popped up in to the quite big cave.There were lots of mice for her to make friends with.There was plenty of crystal clear water.Chips saw the first she-mouse.She went over and greeted her.

Dawn followed Thunder, each of her pawsteps squishing into the now-forming mud on the earth because of the rain. When Thunder said the cave was fine she entered and lay on the opposite side of the cave, making sure she was out of the way of the holes in the roof with cold water dripping through. She sighed to herself and laid her head on her paws. She was exhausted from today, and was happy to finally get some rest. Elleron happily curled up beside her, quickly settling himself in her soft light brown fur. He was quickly overtaken by sleep and his breathing became rythmatic. Dawn smiled at his small form next to her. She gently licked the ruffled fur on top of his head then lay her head back on her forepaws. She was fighting with her eyelids to stay awake, but they eventually won and she, too, was soon asleep.

Thunder was brave enough to explore a large opening in the back of the cave.Chips was upset with no thunder to sleep by or his lullibyes to soothe her.Thunder soon came back tired, and wanted nothing to come in.He layed covering the entrance of the cave as chips would often confront the mice making more friends.They told jokes most of the time.



~~~~~~~~~~next morning~~~~~~~~~~

Fade awoke to the sound of birds chirping, until he fell asleep again.He dreamed of his father, wandering around.A stick pointed out, then the sound of a bomb.His father fell over, bleeding to death, and then taken by a human.He awoke, feeling ruined."hey, wake up" he said nudging chips as she soon woke up, he started foraging for berries and other shelter with food.

Dawn blinked her eyes open sleepily. A bright ray of sunlight, filtering in through the roof of the cave, had opened up and somehow managed to shine of her face. She yawned and hauled herself to her paws, looking around the cave. She saw that Thunder and his anima were gone now. She cocked her head to the side, then looked down as Elleron studdered awake. Elleron, feeling the warmth of Dawn's fur dissapear, had woken up and was not stretching out his little limbs. He looked up at Dawn. "Good morning," he said. Dawn smiled at him. "Good morning," she replied. She turned her head to look at the emptiness of the cave. She walked out to sit at the enterance to the cave to await Thunder's return. Elleron watched her leave, then soon followed behind her. A brightly colored butterfly fluttered by on the breeze close to him. His eyes brightened and he bounded after it. Dawn giggled at his playful mood.

Thunder returned with his muzzle berry colored.He licked it off as he returned."hello" he said as he glamced at Dawn.

"Hi!" Elleron called as he continued bounding after the brightly colored butterfly. Dawn giggled again and turned to Thunder. "Good morning," she said happily. She noticed a slightly different color to his maw. "Out eating berries?" she asked, a slight grin to her tone. She had no idea why she was in such a good mood, but she didn't try to hold it back. She beamed.

"I got hungry but I wasn't in the mood for meat." he said watching Elleron.Chips thought he would be a good trampline.She hopped on his back and as Elleron bounced after the butterfly, Chips started flying through the air."WEEEEEEEEEEE!" she screemed.Fade just started laughing.
